  • Do something right now that you've been putting off.
  • Exercise.
  • Throw out junk food or drugs and pick up some healthier food.
  • Express to your parents that having junk food in the house is making it very difficult for you to lose weight.
  • Dump an abusive boyfriend or girlfriend.
  • If someone has been hurting you, tell them, it's not ok with you. Tell them to stop it, or find a new friend.
  • Replace inactive activities such as television, video games, or surfing the net with more physically active activities in order to lose weight or get more exercise.
  • Buy a daily planner and write down birthdays so you don't forget them.
